The central text is set in blackletter (Fraktur) script, with 'Fünfzig Pfennig.' rendered in large calligraphic lettering. Below, a three-line redemption clause in smaller Fraktur script is followed by the place and date 'Uerdingen am Rhein, den 20. Februar 1921,' with the Bürgermeister's facsimile signature at lower right. A red serial number prefixed by the letter 'B' is printed at the top centre. |

Centred at the lower portion of the vignette is the colourfully printed municipal coat of arms of Uerdingen, rendered in blue, red, and white with a key motif. The motto 'MER HALDE TESAME!' appears in light letterpress across the upper portion of the vignette, and the printer's imprint 'Schleicher & Schüll Düren' is noted at the lower right margin. |
