Der Bürgermeister:
UERDINGEN A. RHEIN
Reverse description Printed in brown, the reverse carries a detailed engraved vignette of the Rhine riverfront at Uerdingen, with steamships and moored vessels on the water and the town's church spire rising above the treeline in the background. Centred at the lower portion of the vignette is the colourfully printed municipal coat of arms of Uerdingen, rendered in blue, red, and white with a key motif. The motto 'MER HALDE TESAME!' appears in light letterpress across the upper portion of the vignette, and the printer's imprint 'Schleicher & Schüll Düren' is noted at the lower right margin.
