| Obverse description | A letterpress vignette of the Höhere Webschule (Higher Weaving School) of Greiz occupies the central field, rendered in black, red, and green, presenting the multi-storey Baroque-influenced façade in fine architectural detail. Corner guilloche roundels carry the denomination numeral '50', flanked by decorative green underprint panels with stylised cross motifs; the issue date 'Greiz, den 5.
