The issuer name "Bad Kudowa" is rendered in bold red Gothic lettering across the upper field, flanked on each side by circular medallions bearing the numeral "50". A large central vignette consists of a purple disc with a pink halo, carrying the denomination "50 Pfennig" in gilt Gothic script. A narrow decorative border of yellow interlaced ornament with grey corner blocks frames the composition.
