| Obverse description | The note is printed on a cream ground enclosed within a decorative border of blue and yellow interlaced ornament with star devices at the corners. The issuer name "Bad Kudowa" is rendered in bold red Gothic lettering across the upper field, flanked on each side by circular medallions bearing the numeral "50". A large central vignette consists of a purple disc with a pink halo, carrying the denomination "50 Pfennig" in gilt Gothic script. Two oval cartouches in the left and right fields carry the redemption and payment texts respectively, with two manuscript signatures below and a serial number in the lower right; the printer's imprint appears at the base. |
