A central cartouche in teal with Jugendstil-style acanthus scrollwork frames the large denomination numeral '50' in orange and the denomination legend 'Pfennig' in black Gothic blackletter. The issue date 'am 21. Januar 1921' appears below the central vignette, flanked by two manuscript facsimile signatures; the serial number is printed at the foot of the note, and the printer's imprint runs along the lower margin. |

| 裏面の説明 | Vibrant multicolour composition in teal, orange, and brown, designed by Carl Glaudinger (signed '19 Carl Glaudinger 21' at foot). Two allegorical nude putti figures are seated symmetrically at either side, each presiding over a laden toy wagon in the foreground — an allusion to Sonneberg's celebrated toy-manufacturing industry. Between them, a central vignette shows the silhouette of a church tower rising above a densely wooded hillside against a radiant sunburst, evoking the town's landscape. The denomination '50 50' in bold blackletter appears at the top centre, flanked by ornate Jugendstil scroll tendrils. |
