| Opis awersu | The obverse is framed by a red-and-black scrollwork border with yellow arabesque ornaments on a white central field, with yellow shield cartouches bearing '50 PFG' in Gothic blackletter at upper left and right. An oval portrait vignette in blue and black at top centre renders Kurfürst Friedrich I. von Brandenburg in period dress, beneath which the denomination 'Fünfzig Pfennig' is set in ornate blackletter script, followed by the issuer name 'Friesack' on a black banner with the sub-legend '/ Mark /'. A validity clause in cursive script appears at lower left, with the date 'im November 1921' and the manuscript signature of the Magistrat at lower right. |

The central scene shows peasant labourers raking hay in the foreground, a horse-drawn wagon bearing a large haystack at centre-right with two figures atop, and a half-timbered farmhouse with a stork's nest at left beneath a pale blue sky. Above the vignette, a blackletter quotation reads 'Arbeit ist des Bürgers Zierde, Segen ist der Mühe Preis.', with a serial number panel in letterpress in the lower border. |
