| Beschrijving voorzijde | The obverse is framed by a red-and-black scrollwork border with yellow arabesque ornaments on a white central field, with yellow shield cartouches bearing '50 PFG' in Gothic blackletter at upper left and right. An oval portrait vignette in blue and black at top centre renders Kurfürst Friedrich I. von Brandenburg in period dress, beneath which the denomination 'Fünfzig Pfennig' is set in ornate blackletter script, followed by the issuer name 'Friesack' on a black banner with the sub-legend '/ Mark /'. A validity clause in cursive script appears at lower left, with the date 'im November 1921' and the manuscript signature of the Magistrat at lower right. |
