| Obverse description | The obverse is laid out in a tripartite arrangement within a rust-brown rectangular border. The upper register carries the town name inscription in bold letterpress type. Flanking a central vignette of the city coat of arms — a crowned shield divided per cross in red and white with a key in base — are two square panels each bearing the denomination numeral '50' above the legend 'PFENNIG'. The lower left panel contains the validity clause in letterpress text, while the lower right panel bears the place-date and the facsimile signature of the Bürgermeister. |
