| Popis rubu | The reverse is dominated by a large full-colour lithographic vignette of the Externsteine rock formation near Horn in Lippe, rendered in tones of green, grey, and blue, with the celebrated medieval carved relief of the Descent from the Cross occupying the rock face; a robed monk figure is seated in contemplation before a cave entrance to the right of the relief. Two circular orange medallions bearing the numeral '50' anchor the lower left and right corners, and a caption panel at the foot of the design identifies the subject in black letterpress. |
