Boppard, d. 21. April 1921 Der Bürgermeister: No 04292 GEBR. PARCUS, MÜNCHEN. |
| 背面描述 | The reverse is composed in three vertical panels printed in dark purple and green on buff paper. The left and right panels each contain a boldly drawn figure of a Rhine vintner or harvest worker rendered in a flat, woodcut-inspired Art Nouveau style, while the central panel is divided top and bottom by decorative vine and grape cluster motifs surrounding a square cartouche with the bold denomination numeral '50'. An artist's signature appears at lower left. |

| 备注 |
Boppard's 1921 notgeld issue was handled by Gebrüder Parcus, a Munich firm that printed a substantial volume of municipal emergency currency during the postwar inflationary period — they were a go-to house for smaller Rhineland towns that lacked local printing infrastructure capable of producing secure paper currency.
Boppard itself was under Allied occupation at the time of issue, the Rhineland having been placed under French administration following the Versailles settlement. Whether that complicated the authorization and distribution of this note is not documented in the standard references, but the political circumstances of the issuing municipality were anything but normal.
