正面描述	Black-ground Notgeld note with a central diamond-shaped vignette of Neustadt castle (Schloß) as it appeared in A.D. 1654, executed in fine line illustration. The denomination numeral '50' appears in red within circular medallions at left and right, set against a decorative scrollwork border. The lower register carries the city coat of arms — two towers with a lion passant — flanked by the validity notice and the issuing authority block of Der Magistrat, dated Neustadt a. Rbge., 1. Mai 1921.

The denomination '50 PFENNIG' appears in bold gold lettering across the upper and lower registers, with the numeral '50' repeated in the lower corners.
