| Obverse description | Black-ground Notgeld note with a central diamond-shaped vignette of Neustadt castle (Schloß) as it appeared in A.D. 1654, executed in fine line illustration. The denomination numeral '50' appears in red within circular medallions at left and right, set against a decorative scrollwork border. The lower register carries the city coat of arms — two towers with a lion passant — flanked by the validity notice and the issuing authority block of Der Magistrat, dated Neustadt a. Rbge., 1. Mai 1921. |
