The lower margin carries the issue date of 21 Oktober 1921, a serial number, the issuing authority 'Der Magistrat', and a manuscript signature, with the printer's and artist's imprints in small type beneath the frame. |

A three-part quotation from Goethe runs across the upper register in banner cartouches, and descriptive captions in blackletter script are placed beneath each panel. |
