A decorative rectangular border of interlocking foliate guilloche encloses the central text field, within which a large lightly-printed '50' underprint in spiral form occupies the centre. Above the border, a two-line letterpress text in Latin script states the redemption obligation of the Spar- und Creditbank zu Parey a. Elbe. The interior carries an eight-line patriotic verse in Antiqua type, and below the border the series designation 'Ausgabe A. Nr.' with a handwritten serial number appears in bold Fraktur, with the printer's imprint 'W. Wackernagel, Magdeburg, Margarethenstr. 4' in small type at the foot. |
