Gmünd' runs across the top in ornate Gothic lettering, below which the validity clause, issue place, and date of 1 September 1921 are rendered in yellow script; a serial number cartouche and two manuscript authorisation signatures appear at the foot, with corner denomination numerals '50' in green on a decorative vine-scroll border. |

The central scene illustrates the medieval legend of the juggler of Our Lady: a young musician kneels on a chequered floor playing a fiddle before a crowned, haloed Madonna figure draped in green robes who bends forward from her pedestal in benediction, a crucifix visible to the left. Circular denomination roundels inscribed '50 PFENNIG' are positioned at the left and right within symmetrical green foliate scroll borders, and a two-line verse caption in Gothic lettering runs along the lower margin. |
