The denomination '50 Pfennig' is set centrally in bold green Gothic script, flanked to the left by the Swabian heraldic shield with a rampant black lion and to the right by an oval vignette of a fortified tower with cross. The issuer legend 'Gutschein von Schw. Gmünd' runs across the top in ornate Gothic lettering, below which the validity clause, issue place, and date of 1 September 1921 are rendered in yellow script; a serial number cartouche and two manuscript authorisation signatures appear at the foot, with corner denomination numerals '50' in green on a decorative vine-scroll border. |
