| Obverse description | The obverse is dominated by a central circular vignette enclosed in a dotted border, presenting a dynamic figure of a huntsman in medieval dress striding forward with a spear, accompanied by a leaping white deer against a radiant sky. The denomination '50 Pfg.' appears in large red Gothic numerals at both upper corners above a grey guilloche underprint, with the issuer's name 'Stadt Schleusingen' arched in red script across the top.
