| Obverse description | Printed in black on orange paper, the obverse is framed by an ornate border with garland motifs at the sides. At the top, a female allegorical head vignette is set between laurel swags, flanked by the denomination inscription in Fraktur script. Below, the issuer legend in large Fraktur lettering spans the width of the note, above two columns of text stating the validity and redemption conditions. The city arms of Rheinsberg — an eagle on a shield with the legend "STADT RHEINSBERG" — appear at centre bottom, accompanied by a serial number in violet and the magistrate's manuscript signature. |

| Reverse description | Printed in black on orange paper, the reverse is dominated by a large oval vignette in Baroque style, set against a cross-hatched background. Within the oval, an oval portrait medallion of a powdered-wig figure — likely Frederick the Great or a related royal personage associated with Rheinsberg — is surrounded by elaborate Rococo scrollwork, laurel foliage, and wave ornaments. The denomination numeral "50" appears twice in cartouches at lower left and lower right within the composition, and the designer's name "Rob. Koch" is inscribed at the base of the central vignette. |
