| Obverse description | A light blue-green guilloche underprint with an overlaid repeating wave pattern covers the entire field. The Gothic-script heading 'Kreisstadt Guhrau, Bez. Breslau' appears at upper centre, beneath which validity and redemption clauses are set in smaller Gothic text; the town coat of arms — a shield bearing a crenellated tower and a figure — is positioned at lower left, while windmill vignettes occupy each corner of the ornate border.
