| Obverse description | The obverse is printed in black and blue on white paper. The upper portion carries the denomination numeral '50' in circular cartouches at each corner, flanked by a central diamond-shaped vignette inscribed 'Pfennige'. Below, a bold letterpress legend reads 'NOTGELD DES FLECKENS SCHARMBECK', beneath which a large central vignette presents the town's heraldic coat of arms — two rampant lions supporting a crowned shield — enclosed within a decorative oval surround bearing the motto 'OHN FLEISS KEIN PREIS'. The lower panel contains the redemption text in German Fraktur script, dated 1. Dezember 1920, with the issuing authority 'Der Magistrat' and a manuscript signature. |
