The city arms of Detmold — a crenellated gatehouse on a red field with a six-petal rose at centre — occupy a central heraldic vignette in red, grey, and black letterpress. A lower text panel carries the date 1920, serial number, a redemption clause in red Gothic script, and two manuscript signatures, with the printer's imprint along the bottom margin. |
