| 正面描述 | At centre, a circular vignette frames two winged putti supporting the denomination numeral '50', set against an ornate decorative background with a small heraldic shield below showing a standing figure. A curved banner above the vignette carries the inscription 'Gutschein der Stadt Mainbernheim', while the lower portion of the note presents a silhouetted townscape skyline. The printer's imprint appears at the very foot of the note, with the issuing authority's text and validity date arranged in the lower field. |

Mainbernheim is among the smallest municipalities ever to issue emergency currency — a walled Franconian town whose population at the time of this note's printing barely exceeded a few hundred. The chronic coin shortage of 1920 drove even such minor communes to commission their own Kleingeldersatz, and Konrad Triltsch in Würzburg handled a considerable share of that regional demand, producing notes for numerous small Bavarian and Franconian issuers during the same period.
The DeNG dual reference (0859.1-2/2) indicates two distinct types within the series, making completeness a minor puzzle for specialist collectors of Franconian Notgeld.
