| Beschrijving voorzijde | The upper-left quadrant is occupied by a bold red numeral '50' set against a dense black scrollwork guilloche panel. To the right, a green-printed vignette shows a giant folkloric figure striding across the Neustrelitz townscape, scattering small rectangles from a bundle held over one shoulder, with the church tower of the city visible among the rooftops below. The lower-centre carries the Fraktur inscription 'Gutschein' and the issuing authority text, flanked by two manuscript facsimile signatures above the titles 'Bürgermeister' and 'Stadtrat', with a repeating green floral underprint covering the entire field and the issue date '1. Oktober 1920' at upper right. |

| Opmerkingen |
Neustrelitz served as the capital of the Free State of Mecklenburg-Strelitz, one of Germany's smallest and most short-lived republican entities — it was absorbed into Mecklenburg-Schwerin in 1934. This Notgeld issue came from the city council itself rather than a savings bank or chamber of commerce, which was less common; most municipal emergency currency of the period was coordinated through local business associations. Printed locally by Bohls Nachfolger, the note never traveled far — Neustrelitz had a population of roughly 12,000, and these small-denomination pieces were produced strictly for local retail shortfall.
