| Beschrijving voorzijde | Notgeld voucher printed in dark red and green on cream paper, with a broad decorative border of spruce branches and pine cones flanking all four sides, and the denomination numeral '50' in circular cartouches at each corner. The denomination 'Pfennig' is set in large Gothic blackletter script across the upper centre, flanked by oval panels enclosing the numeral '50', with the issuer's name 'Gemeinde Hermsdorf S.A.' in bold Gothic lettering below. A central vignette at the top shows an industrial lamp or bell-shaped apparatus, while at the lower centre a ladder motif appears between two columns of small-print legal text governing the validity and redemption conditions of the note. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse is printed in the same two-colour scheme of dark red and green, retaining the spruce-and-pine-cone border with '50' corner cartouches. A central architectural vignette presents a detailed line-engraved view of the Hermsdorf municipal building, a multi-storey neo-Gothic structure with turrets and decorative gabling. The heading 'Gutschein der Gemeinde Hermsdorf S.A.' appears in Gothic script above the vignette, while below it the Gemeindevorsteher's manuscript signature is accompanied by a serial number in red and the authorisation line referencing the municipal council resolution of 4 April 1919. |
