| Beschrijving voorzijde | Tan-toned notgeld note printed in red, green, and gold, centred on a large heraldic vignette of the Lindenberg city arms — a crowned shield bearing a twin-towered Baroque church set within a foliate cartouche — flanked by the denomination numeral '50' in bold red at lower left and right. Gothic-script text to either side of the arms states the note's validity within the Stadtgemeinde and reserves the right to extend the redemption period to 1 January 1919. The issuer legend 'Magistrat der Stadt Lindenberg i. Allgäu' and date '1. Mai 1918' appear along the lower margin, accompanied by a manuscript signature above the designation 'rechtsf. Bürgermeister' and the printer's imprint 'Schwarz Lindenberg' at lower right. |
