Gothic-script text to either side of the arms states the note's validity within the Stadtgemeinde and reserves the right to extend the redemption period to 1 January 1919. The issuer legend 'Magistrat der Stadt Lindenberg i. Allgäu' and date '1. Mai 1918' appear along the lower margin, accompanied by a manuscript signature above the designation 'rechtsf. Bürgermeister' and the printer's imprint 'Schwarz Lindenberg' at lower right. |
