| Opis rewersu | The reverse is dominated by a large central vignette presenting a perspective street view of the Altes Rathaus (Old Town Hall) square in Görlitz, rendered in fine engraving with considerable architectural detail including the arcaded façade at left and the tall tower of the Rathaus rising at centre. Ornamental panels in each corner display foliate and acanthus motifs, with the numeral '50' printed in bold type within the left and right border cartouches. The inscription 'ALTES RATHAUS GÖRLITZ.' appears in the upper right field, and the printer's imprint 'Carl Schleicher & Schüll Düren' is present at the foot of the design. |
