| Beschrijving voorzijde | Central vignette consists of a German Imperial steel helmet bearing the large numeral '50' above the word 'PFENNIG', superimposed over the polychrome municipal arms of Kaufbeuren — a quartered shield with a black eagle and red diagonal band — all flanked by oak branch sprays on a dark ground. Two lateral scroll cartouches carry validity and extension-of-term inscriptions in vertical orientation. A lower panel bears the issuing authority text and date, with a facsimile signature of the Rechtsk. Bürgermeister. |

| Beschrijving keerzijde | The reverse presents a panoramic woodcut-style vignette of the Kaufbeuren townscape in the lower half, with church steeples and rooftops rendered in fine line engraving against a dark sky. Overlaid centrally is a large twisted double-loop ribbon carrying the civic motto inscription, through which a vertical sword with an ornate hilt is thrust. The denomination '50' appears in each corner within dark square panels, and foliate sprays decorate the lateral borders. |
