| Obverse description | Central vignette consists of a German Imperial steel helmet bearing the large numeral '50' above the word 'PFENNIG', superimposed over the polychrome municipal arms of Kaufbeuren — a quartered shield with a black eagle and red diagonal band — all flanked by oak branch sprays on a dark ground. Two lateral scroll cartouches carry validity and extension-of-term inscriptions in vertical orientation. A lower panel bears the issuing authority text and date, with a facsimile signature of the Rechtsk. Bürgermeister. |
