The central vignette presents a standing allegorical male figure beside a pedestal, flanked by portrait medallions of two uniformed military officers at left and right; the denomination numeral 50 appears in each lower corner. | Beschrijving keerzijde | Printed entirely in orange-red on plain paper, the reverse is divided into three equal panels by a dense geometric guilloche framework. Each outer panel contains the numeral 50 within a circular lathe-work rosette, while the central panel carries a larger interlocking rosette of the same style. The bank title EL BANCO DE LA / PROVINCIA DE BUENOS AIRES is inscribed in two arched lines at top and bottom respectively, with the printer's imprint American Bank Note Co. New York along the lower margin. |
