| Popis rubu | A Cuban tody (Todus multicolor), known locally as the cartacuba, is depicted perched on a brown branch at centre, rendered in polychrome enamel with vivid naturalistic colouring: a dark green head and upperparts, white underparts, a bright red throat patch, blue and pink lateral markings, and yellow undertail coverts. Green foliage occupies the right background, and a stylised green ground cover fills the lower field. The curved legend FAUNA DEL CARIBE arcs across the upper rim, with the species name CARTACUBA continuing along the right side.
