The central vignette is dominated by a large guilloche-framed numeral 50, with a vignette of a multi-story building to the left and a steamship or locomotive scene at a waterfront to the right. The lower border bears the date 1° de Setiembre de 1919, the place San Salvador, the denomination CINCUENTA PESOS, and the imprint of the American Bank Note Co., New York, with SPECIMEN overprints in red and cancellation punch holes. |
