Descrizione del dritto	The Finnish coat of arms lion rampant, brandishing a sword in its right forepaw and trampling on a scimitar with its hind paws, is depicted in the center of the field, surrounded by nine roses. The date is divided by the lion's body, with '19' to the left and the final two digits to the right. A beaded border runs along the inner rim.

Nickel, previously used for the type, was redirected toward the war effort after the Soviet invasion of November 1939. The copper issues span the Continuation War years as well, a period when Finnish industry operated under severe material constraints and partial German economic alignment. The 1940 date is notably scarcer within the run.
