| Beschrijving keerzijde | Central field bears the full-color official badge of No. 39 Squadron RAF, depicting a winged bomb with outstretched green wings upon a light blue roundel encircled by a laurel wreath, surmounted by a Tudor crown in full heraldic color. The numeral 39 appears on either side of the roundel within the wreath. A gold scroll beneath the badge bears the squadron motto DIE NOCTUQUE.
