The figure wears his characteristic oversized green tam o'shanter hat adorned with a red feather, and holds a red pocket handkerchief in one paw while clasping a small onion in the other, rendered faithfully after Potter's original watercolour illustrations. The design by Emma Noble reproduces the warm, naturalistic tones of the source artwork against the coin's polished silver field. The inscription BENJAMIN BUNNY arcs in two segments along the left and right periphery of the coin. |
