| Obverse description | The fifth definitive effigy of Queen Elizabeth II by Jody Clark occupies the obverse, depicting a right-facing crowned bust of the Queen adorned with the George IV State Diadem. The portrait is rendered in fine relief against a mirror-polished proof field. The legend arcs around the periphery, incorporating the denomination and date, while the designer's initials J.C. appear discreetly below the truncation. |

| Reverse description | The reverse presents a full-colour application of Beatrix Potter's beloved character Benjamin Bunny, depicted in a three-quarter forward-facing pose occupying the majority of the heptagonal field. The figure wears his characteristic oversized green tam o'shanter hat adorned with a red feather, and holds a red pocket handkerchief in one paw while clasping a small onion in the other, rendered faithfully after Potter's original watercolour illustrations. The design by Emma Noble reproduces the warm, naturalistic tones of the source artwork against the coin's polished silver field.
