| 背面描述 | A bold, centrally placed depiction of the Imperial State Crown, as worn by King Charles III during the Coronation ceremony of May 2023, dominates the heptagonal field. The crown is rendered in fine relief, displaying its characteristic arches, orb and cross surmount, pearl and jewel settings, and ermine base. Flanking the lower field are two fleurs-de-lis devices. A Latin acclamation legend, VIVAT REX CAROLUS VIVAT VIVAT REGINA CAMILLA VIVAT, encircles the crown in a bold, partially overlapping typographic arrangement across the upper field. Below the crown, the inscription THE CORONATION appears on two lines, with the denomination 50p flanked by two additional fleurs-de-lis in the lower exergue. |

The Isle of Man has issued commemorative coinage under royal license for decades, operating outside the Royal Mint's remit and with considerably more latitude in design and release timing. This piece marks Charles III's coronation, which took place on 6 May 2023 at Westminster Abbey — the first British coronation in 70 years. The Manx issue arrived later than most UK-affiliated commemoratives, reflecting the island's independent production pipeline through Pobjoy Mint and its successors.
One ounce gold proofs in this series are struck to order in very limited quantities, with no fixed mintage cap publicly disclosed by the issuer.
