The crown is rendered in fine relief, displaying its characteristic arches, orb and cross surmount, pearl and jewel settings, and ermine base. Flanking the lower field are two fleurs-de-lis devices. A Latin acclamation legend, VIVAT REX CAROLUS VIVAT VIVAT REGINA CAMILLA VIVAT, encircles the crown in a bold, partially overlapping typographic arrangement across the upper field. Below the crown, the inscription THE CORONATION appears on two lines, with the denomination 50p flanked by two additional fleurs-de-lis in the lower exergue. |
