备注	Banco da China is one of three commercial banks licensed to issue pataca banknotes in Macao — the others being Banco Nacional Ultramarino and Banco da China's own earlier series — a tripartite arrangement that has persisted through the handover to Chinese administration in 1999 and remains unusual by any international standard. This 2020 issue was released as part of commemorations marking the 20th anniversary of that handover, which drove the entire series rather than any monetary necessity. The China Banknote Printing and Minting Corporation handled production, as it does for virtually all contemporary Macao issues regardless of which of the three banks is nominally the issuer.
