The Grand Duke wears an ornate crown surmounted by a cross, with long flowing hair, and is clad in richly detailed ceremonial robes decorated with intricate foliate motifs. A long sword is held vertically before him, and an armorial shield bearing the Vytis is visible at lower centre. The engraver's signature V. KAŠUBA appears at lower left of the field.
