| Description du revers | Imposing bust of Vytautas the Great, Grand Duke of Lithuania, shown in left-facing profile, rendered in high relief after a medieval portrait tradition. The Grand Duke wears an ornate crown surmounted by a cross, with long flowing hair, and is clad in richly detailed ceremonial robes decorated with intricate foliate motifs. A long sword is held vertically before him, and an armorial shield bearing the Vytis is visible at lower centre. The engraver's signature V. KAŠUBA appears at lower left of the field. The circumferential legend reads VYTAUTAS • D • L • K • at the top and • 1392 • 1430 • at the right, denoting his reign as Grand Duke. |
