| 背面描述 | The central vignette presents an intaglio rendering of the soldier figure from the Statue of Victory (Zafer Anıtı) at Ulus Square in Ankara, shown in full standing pose with rifle and raised arm, framed within an arched guilloche border. Denomination panels reading '50 TÜRK LİRASI' appear in the upper right and lower left corners, surrounded by intricate geometric ornamental scrollwork in brown. The reverse is printed in a uniform brown colorway with a blank reserve panel at right, typical of this emission. |

| 备注 |
Bradbury Wilkinson printed several Turkish issues in this period, but the 50 Lira brown reverse variant within the P#162 series is notable for the minor distinction in back ink color that separates it from earlier printings — a change subtle enough that it went uncatalogued as a distinct variety for some years. Whether the shift resulted from a deliberate specification change or a batch variation at the New Malden works has never been definitively settled in the literature.
Turkey's central bank had been relying on British security printers since the late 1920s, and Bradbury Wilkinson held a significant share of that business through the 1950s.
