Obverse description A three-quarter-facing portrait vignette of President Mustafa Kemal Atatürk is positioned to the right, set against a guilloche underprint in brown tones. The denomination '50' appears in the upper corners and along both lateral margins, with the central field bearing the value inscription 'ELLİ TÜRK LİRASI' in large letterpress text. Serial number and series prefix appear twice on the note, with three signature lines for bank officials running along the lower portion.

Reverse description The central vignette presents an intaglio rendering of the soldier figure from the Statue of Victory (Zafer Anıtı) at Ulus Square in Ankara, shown in full standing pose with rifle and raised arm, framed within an arched guilloche border. Denomination panels reading '50 TÜRK LİRASI' appear in the upper right and lower left corners, surrounded by intricate geometric ornamental scrollwork in brown. The reverse is printed in a uniform brown colorway with a blank reserve panel at right, typical of this emission.
