| Descrizione del dritto | The right portion of the obverse carries an intaglio portrait of Juan Manuel Gálvez D., identified by inscription as "Fundador de la Banca Nacional," set against a fine guilloche underprint in blue and gold tones; to the lower right, a vignette of the BANADESA building is rendered in detailed intaglio. At centre-left, a large optically variable numeral "50" is set within a geometric security element, flanked by the date and three facsimile signatures below the titles Presidenta, Gerente, and Secretario de Finanzas. The upper border carries the legends "REPUBLICA DE HONDURAS" and "BANCO CENTRAL DE HONDURAS" on a dark band, with the serial number printed twice in black at left and lower right. |

| Descrizione del rovescio | The reverse is dominated by a large intaglio vignette of the main building of the Banco Central de Honduras, set to the left against a multicolour guilloche underprint of blue, gold, and orange geometric patterns. To the right, a stylised pre-Columbian Mayan glyph motif rendered in orange and blue serves as a decorative centrepiece, alongside a square optically variable security element. The denomination "50" appears in large colour-shifting numerals at the lower right, and the legends "BANCO CENTRAL DE HONDURAS" and "CINCUENTA LEMPIRAS" frame the design along the left edge and lower border respectively. |
