Popis rubu	A detailed intaglio vignette of the Independence Arch in Blantyre occupies the centre-left of the note, rendered with fine architectural line work and surrounded by trees and landscaped grounds; the tall tower surmounted by the national coat of arms rises above the gateway structure. The denomination K50 appears in all four corners within guilloche-framed panels, and a small rooster watermark vignette is visible to the right of centre. The colour scheme combines deep blue-violet intaglio work over a multicolour underprint of orange, green, and teal.
