The face of the saint is depicted in left profile, partially abstracted within stylised drapery folds that evoke both her religious habit and the tracery of a Gothic arch. The legend 'SVATÁ ANEŽKA ČESKÁ' curves along the lower periphery, with the date '1990' inscribed vertically along the left inner border. 附加信息	Agnes of Bohemia — thirteenth-century Přemyslid princess turned Franciscan abbess — waited 750 years for canonization. When John Paul II finally elevated her in November 1989, the ceremony in Rome coincided almost exactly with the Velvet Revolution unfolding in Prague. The Czechoslovak state mint had this coin in planning before the communist government fell; it was completed under entirely different political circumstances than those that commissioned it.
