| Obverse description | The left half of the note is occupied by a finely engraved vignette of a woman in traditional Austrian Tracht standing at a wooden fence with an Alpine landscape and haystacks in the background; the denomination numerals '50' appear in the upper corners flanking the vignette. To the right, a circular text panel within a floral and edelweiss border carries the voucher text and three manuscript signatures; the validity date 'Gültig bis 31. Dezember 1920' runs vertically along the left edge of the text panel. The entire composition is enclosed within an ornate floral and foliate frame characteristic of Austrian Notgeld design. |
