A central text block in German script sets out the conditions of issue, dated 15 August 1920, with the denomination '50 HELLER' in bold numerals at lower left and right; the overprint 'III. Auflage' (third issue) appears in blue across the lower centre. |

Rauris is a small mining settlement in the Hohe Tauern, historically known for gold extraction that peaked in the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries.
