正面描述 Brown on cream paper notgeld issued by the commune of Gugu, with a central vignette of a heavily bearded male figure in profile facing left, rendered in a woodcut-like linear style. The denomination '50' appears in the upper corners flanked by the Austrian shield coat of arms on both sides, with 'HELLER' inscribed below each numeral. A bold chain-link ornamental border frames the note, and the lower panel carries the issuer legend in large display type.

备注

Gugu is a small village in what was then the Duchy of Carniola, today's Slovenia. This note is a Notgeld piece issued by the local commune — one of hundreds of Austrian municipal emergency currencies produced during the severe coin shortage of the First World War period, when even low-denomination metal coinage effectively vanished from everyday trade.

The Jaksch/Pick reference JPR0307IIa places this within the documented Slovenian-area Austrian Notgeld series. Rudolf Haider's signature as issuing authority is the only administrative trace most of these village-level notes left behind.
